We are delighted to announce that we have become the recipient of the 2022 CommBank Staff Foundation Community Grant.  With the $10,000 provided by this grant, Beehive’s chef, Linda Westacott will be able to bolster our weekly donations of food and grocery aid packages. 

Beehive serves breakfast, morning tea and lunch to our Beehivers every day.  Additionally, they receive a weekly care package of additional foodstuffs to help supplement their groceries at home.  Beehive also provides frozen food parcels to our charity partners, St Barnabas and Newtown-Erskineville Anglican churches.  These frozen meals are distributed to aid recipients in their ministry, ensuring that as many people as possible have access to food security. 

With the increase in prices of food stuffs and meat, this grant will go far in helping Beehive to provide consistent and regular food aid to our service users.  We wish to thank the CommBank Staff Foundation for this wonderful grant.
