Social procurement offers value far beyond the bottom line. Your choice to secure our business services enables you to make a positive social impact by facilitating support programs that are vital for reducing social isolation and improving mental health.
Our support users enjoy free breakfast, morning tea and lunch, as well as fresh take-home fruit and vegetables for nutritional support. Healthy eating is also encouraged through our popular ‘Low Cost Meals for Seniors’ program.
Our ‘Beehive2Work’ program offers work experience and training to the long-term unemployed and people with a disability. Digital literacy and ESL classes are also offered to reduce barriers to community participation.
Our support users participate in social outings to experience Sydney’s beautiful beaches, parks and gardens. We also host special events to celebrate occasions such as Mother’s Day, Melbourne Cup and Christmas.

Discover our Story
Beehive Industries was founded by the City of Sydney in 1971 to provide meaningful support to seniors in central Sydney. This valuable partnership continues today as our story continues to unfold with a team dedicated to delivering excellent business and social outcomes.
Our CEO, Brendan Lonergan, brings more than 40 years of experience in business development to his role. Brendan is a respected advocate for greater community engagement in social issues affecting seniors, the long-term unemployed and people living with a disability.
