2024 has been a very challenging year for us, with many changes and a lot of growth in just 6 months!

Our social enterprise work has grown from strength to strength with many new customers and a wide variety of voluntary work activities that we can offer to our Beehivers.  They have enjoyed learning new skills and are maintaining good health among their friends. 

In particular, our Beehivers have been very fortunate to continue to receive daily meals as well as a bag of groceries every week.  This food aid has been a great help during this time of increased cost of living.  And we have also continued to freeze and distribute frozen meals and fresh food to our partners at Erko Food Ministry in Erskineville and St Barnabas in Ultimo.

Most notably, we have seen an increase in our capacity and output for commercial procurement services.  So far, we have processed tens of thousands of:

• cut and packaged rosemary sprigs for Anzac day for Legacy
• kitted and packed arthritis care packages for Arthritis NSW
• Tracks magazines to be distributed nationally and internationally
• sorted correspondence for Transport for NSW
• and so many thousands more!
• 

We are ready to take on new work that helps keep our Beehivers active and feeling productive.  The funds earned from these jobs help us to keep our doors open, providing a safe community for Sydney’s vulnerable seniors.
